"Pattern" text
The inlays representing stars upon the "Nebra Sky Disc" depict constellations as they truly appeared in the sky--, and this was done 100-200 years before anyone else is known to have. While that is not a monumental change in history: because of the "relationships in size to each other" of the remaining objects on the disc--, [that] someone knew how to work with pi possibly 1,700 years before that ratio was accurately defined--, this would be a major change. See: "Relationships" detail.
The inlays representing stars on the disc have "pattern" between them. Consider:
- A. The semi-circle of stars around the backside of the crescent moon.
- B. The zig-zags between stars on the W side of the disc.
- C. The straight line of(3)stars(angled) at top center of the disc.
- D. The "spearhead" shape made from S--, and out to SW on the disc. The "Progression" detail shows the lower three stars of that "spearhead" shape(Atlas, Pleione, and the star just W of Pleione)as having "swung" down over a 4,000 year period. Just by visualizing those three stars(of today)as being "raised" back up, the "spearhead" shape is(nearly)complete--, connected to Alcyone.
From that point(Alcyone)--,up(around)and through the semi-circle of stars(including HD23585)to Taygeta--, and from there hooking around through 21 & 22 Tauri and back in to(Maia)--completes the...
- E...Trapezoidal shape made between: Taygeta, 21 Tauri, 22 Tauri, & Maia--, thus giving us the PLEIADES STAR SYSTEM wrapped around the crescent moon(See: "Trilogy" 1 & 3 to see how little this pattern has changed over a 4,000 year period, as described in D thru E above).
With only a few stars left to account for(as shown in the "Detail"/"Progression" detail illustrations), the Pleiades star system is restored to 2,000 B.C. per the "Nebra Sky Disc". The 7 star cluster on the disc(said to represent the Pleiades)is only a small part of the whole system as it appeared 4,000 years ago, and its appearance was perpetuated for all of us to enjoy, by twenty-four gold inlays.
Note: There really is no way these "patterns" could appear from haphazardly/randomly placed inlays, and all objects on the disc were set with resolute design.
