This Pattern is the crux of the "Nebra Sky Disc". The version on the left highlights[in black]the "Seven Sisters"(21 & 22 Tauri collectively considered as one sister--Asterope), while the version on the right highlights HD23585. This pattern clearly shows(on the disc)the Pleiades surrounding the crescent moon, and tells us that not only was HD23585 'flared up' --, but also that five stars were once gathered to 21 & 22 Tauri(Asterope), thus giving us the origin of the 7 star[cluster].
