"Progression" text
Although I feel progression of the stars SW & W of Alcyone(Atlas, Pleione, etc., as per the "Progression" detail) are shown fairly accurately, I'm not sure as to the five stars once gathered to 21 & 22 Tauri. THAT five stars were at one time there to form the 7 star cluster is(to me)without question. I believe HD23568 and HD23642 have progressed from(what I show as)their positions on the disc--to those of today, and are also depicted accurately in this illustration.
Aside from 21 & 22 Tauri--, exactly which five other stars were the originals, that[along with 21 & 22 Tauri]comprised the 7 star cluster(to the eyes in 2D), is pure conjecture on my part.
Not much is mentioned in the "main" text on the star N of the cluster(per the "Detail"/"Progression" detail maps). This star upon the disc is a strong catalyst to the theory put forth as to the Pleiades star system, and how it appeared 4,000 years ago. It occupies a fairly "lone" position on the disc(in relation to the others of the system)and, like five stars of the original cluster--, it too has progressed farther away from 21 & 22 Tauri.
